Ulises A. Mejias is Professor of Communication Studies and director of the Institute for Global Engagement at the State University of New York, Oswego. His research interests include critical Internet studies, Internet theory and science, network theory and science, philosophy of technology, sociology of communication, and digital media’s political economy.
Also, he is co founder of Movimiento de Tecnologías No Alineadas and Tierra Común network, and is a member of the Board of Humanities New York, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
